5th grade classes started and ended todays music classes with two Kinder classes right in the middle! 5th grade leaders led the class in the welcome song; Ostinato accompaniments for "Bon Jour" were composed by another leader and performed by the class; Two 5th grade classes made it to the level of playing an accompaniment rhythm to a mystery (or unknown yet heard on the radio ) song with Boomwhacker tubes! Kindergarten classes came and played with colors while learning and singing 3 and 5 and 8 note counting scales. Then we practiced locomotor movements of walking and tip toe and crawling to the "How do ya do?" song we learned during class. A fun time with "old" and "young" today!
