All Day Kindergarten worked again with Fred the Teddy Bear as we visited an Ocean in music with our MOVE-IT series. The Eric Satie piece "Trois Gymnopedie #1" served as our guide to gentle wave motions using upper body arm motions forward and back. All of this came after we first sang about some favorite breakfast foods inviting each of us to sing on our own followed by moving around the room to the beat by matching our feet to the drum beat in locomotor movement. Sometimes we moved fast, other times slow. Great listening and participation followed the full day through!
